News & Information

The John H. Lounsbury College of Education celebrated GCSU's 25th Anniversary of our Liberal Arts Mission. The title of the event was: The Value of Liberal Arts in Preparing Teachers and Leaders as Architects of ChangeWe are very thankful for our fabulous presenters, Dr. Linda Bradley, Dr. Olha Osobov, Dr. Miriam Jordan, and Dr. Paulette Cross, and facilitator, Dr. Cheryl Reynolds!

The "Instructables" senior middle grades teacher candidates selected a relevant and significant social phenomenon that influences the lives of young adolescents. They examined and reflected upon how different sociological factors have (and possibly continue to) influence their own views, values and experiences. Learn more about the Instructables and their work. Awesome work "Instructables"!
